In today’s episode, we are fortunate to spread awareness for a 6-month-old Etsy shop that is on a mission to support NICU children and their families. The co-founders Samantha and Colleen have been friends since college and fast forward a few years, they both ended up spending time in the NICU after giving birth to preemie girls only 1 month apart.
Through our conversation with Samantha and Colleen, they share how the shop got its name - From Mini to Moose - and how the extra revenue helps with onesie donations. They talk about how their strategy shifted from planning big early on to setting more reasonable goals while trying to establish a healthy work-life balance. Colleen has returned to her day job as a high school teacher and Samantha is expecting her second child in 2018.
During today's show, Colleen mentioned her favorite product under $50: the NuRoo which helped her with Kangaroo time while in the NICU with daughter Madison.
Also in this episode, the co-founders talk about their exciting partnerships with @erincondren and a previous The Baby Nation Show guest @addie.belle from She Got Guts! They were also featured on nicuawareness.org.
As you can see, it’s an exciting time for these two mothers and their supportive husbands. Be sure to check out the shop's Instagram page @fromminitomoose or go straight to the store! You can also access the founders' blog and Facebook pages.
